Electronic arts announcements focused on the next gen versions of the game that will be available on consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. As could be expected after last year’s fiasco, there will be major improvements to the Franchise mode. The changes will affect the coaching and management aspects of the game, adding more importance and meaning to planning and preparation. Players will have more options to develop their team and will have more control on the game. The Face of the Franchise mode will also make a comeback with a new storyline called “United We Rise” and for the first time in the history of the game, players will have the possibility to play as linebackers in that mode.
The gameplay of the Madden NFL 22 will have a unique feeling, partially thanks to the addition of a new feature called Gameday Momentum. This feature will make the stadiums and public an integral part of the experience. Each arena will have a unique feeling, with effects attached to them. In practice, both home and away teams, will have access to a meter that will fill as the game progresses, granting them abilities called M-Factors. The M-Factors abilities will have several different effects and will become essential to the gameplay when players learn how to use them.
The Next Gen Stats will also return in Madden NFL 22, bringing more interaction between the real-life player and their in-game counterparts. We are going to cover the new changes in a more extensive way as EA reveals more details about the game. Madden NFL 22 will be released on August 20 on Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X.
